The Necrobinder and her faithful right-hand left hand are BACK and totally revamped! She now has 3 brand new cards under her belt and 2 new powers, Shield and Vigor. You may notice that many of her cards have been reworked, her and Ostyโs HP has been rebalanced, Osty must now be revived/healed at rest sites, AND you can now freely switch between which character is in front. Weโd greatly appreciate your feedback on anything Necrobinder-related! โ ๏ธ
Weโve also got tons of updated event art, UI changes, and bug fixes, among other things. Letโs dig in!

- Added Vigor power
- "Born to Die" card has been removed, and "Deathbringer" card has been added
- Energy cost: 2
- "Deal 13(17) damage to ALL enemies."
- Added "Drain Life" Necrobinder card
- Energy cost: 1
- "Deal 7(9) damage. Gain Vigor equal to unblocked damage dealt."
- Added "Grave Warden" Necrobinder card
- Energy cost: 1
- You and Osty each gain 5(8) Shield.
- Better Than Ever card has been reworked
- "If Osty is dead, revive him and apply 5(8) Strength." -> "Transfer all your Vigor to Osty. Draw 1 card."
- Upgrade: Adds Retain keyword
- Bodyguard card has been reworked
- "Osty gains 3(4) Dexterity." -> "Osty gains 12(16) Block and moves to the front. You can't swap this turn."
- Loyalty card has been reworked
- "If Osty is dead, deal 11(16) damage." -> "You and Osty each gain 3(4) Vigor."
- Shared Fate card has been reworked
- Heel card has been reworked
- Dark Siphon card has been reworked
- Energy cost increased from 1 -> 2
- "Osty heals HP equal to the amount of Doom on ALL enemies." -> "Osty deals 18(24) damage. If this kills an enemy, gain 3 energy. Exhaust."
- Flatten card has been reworked
- Plague Carrier card has been reworked
- Decreased Necrobinder's HP from 42 -> 35
- Increased Osty's HP from 15 -> 45
- Enemy debuffs are now redirected to Osty if he's in front
- Osty no longer revives and heals at the start of every room. Instead, Osty can be revived and healed by resting at rest sites
- Fetch card type changed from Skill -> Attack
- Reanimate card cost increased from 0 -> 1. Upgrading Reanimate now reduces its cost to 0
- Sacrifice card energy gain increased from 3(4) -> 4(5). Rarity changed from Uncommon -> Rare
- Fearmonger power now triggers when "Osty deals damage" attacks are played
- Brainbug card selection now fades out to not overlap with relic bar
- Fixed the ability to deselect cards from Gambling Chip
- Energy orb shiny UI can no longer be seen in Neow room
- Fixed fade out asset misposition in deck
- Fixed character layering issues
- Fixed softlock on Acid Dust and Fairy in a Bottle
- Fixed softlock on stall
- Fixed typo in Dense Vegetation event choice
- Run history no longer crashes game
- Fixed softlock when debuffing Soul Nexus
- Re-added events sending metrics
- Neow choice metrics are now tracked
- Updated event art for the following 16 events: Battleworn Dummy, Brain Bug, Bug Slayer, Buried Seed, Byrdonis Egg, Cursed Choice, Field of the Forgotten, Hungry for Mushrooms, Infested Automaton, Self-Help Book, Symbiote, Telepathic Spiders, The Future of Potions, The Trial, Tinker Time, Wood Carvings
- Cleared out old potion outlines
- Fixed Defect animation
- Added art for remaining enchantment icons
- Added Chaos, Chill, and Compile Driver art
- Added Hellraiser and Aggression power icons
- Added new Hunter Killer animations
- Updated potion assets
- Added new marker icons for characters
- โAbandon Runโ confirmation popup buttons are now larger
- Added hide/show logic for all combat HUD toggler components
- Added button for swapping between Necrobinder and Osty being "in front"
- Adjusted common button outlines to be thinner and always displayed for now
- Adjusted event body text material and removed text panel background from Neow room
- Adjusted merchant hitbox and added debug visualizer for the hitbox to test aspect ratios
- Adjusted event text, spacing, alignment rules, etc
- Updated text color in events to be cream (used to be white after event loc update)
- Updated orb text materials and positioning logic
- Disallowed multiple energy gain VFX when effect is already playing
- Energy icon in energy tip is now on the right hand side
- Orb descriptions show up when you hover over character
- Rest site icon appears now in room history screen
- Moved Cubex Construct beam to be more centered to the orb
- Sentry Mode: "At end of turn, Osty attacks a random enemy for 10 damage." -> "At the end of your turn, Osty deals 10 damage to a random enemy."
- Blight Strike: "Apply Doom equal to damage done" -> "Apply Doom equal to unblocked damage doneโ
