BALANCE

Ironclad:

  • Nerfed Tear Asunder card: cost increased from 1 -> 2

Regent:

  • Nerfed Pale Blue Dot card:
  • Cost increased from 0 -> 1
  • No longer Innate

Potions & Relics:

  • Changed Courier relic: rarity upshifted from Uncommon -> Rare

Enemies:

  • Changed Burrowing Buddies encounter: can now also feature the Rock Workbug
  • Buffed Bygone Effigy: strength scaling increased from 5->10; initial damage lowered by 5 to compensate
  • Buffed Byrdonis: Territorial power strength gain increased from 1 -> 2
  • Buffed Entomancer: HP increased from 136 -> 155
  • Buffed Flyconid: HP increased from 44-49 -> 49-53
  • Buffed Hunter Killer: Bite move damage from 15 -> 19
  • Buffed Nibbit: Slice move damage and Block gain increased from 7 -> 8
  • Buffed Ovicopter:
  • Bite move damage from 16 -> 19
  • HP increased from 122-129 -> 132-138
  • Buffed Phrog Parasite: Infection cards given from Infest move increased from 3 -> 4
  • Buffed Thieving Hopper: now also attacks for 19 damage on its Theft turn

Misc:

  • Legendary cards are now rarer to find, especially when not at Elites or Bosses
  • The Merchant can no longer generate Legendary cards

ART

  • Added card art for The Gambit

Enemies:

  • Updated boss map node animations
  • Added art for The Insatiable and The Queen map nodes
  • Added a player-eating animation for The Insatiable
  • Added Spectral Knight animations
  • Added fire VFX For Spectral Knight and revised VFX for Mecha Knight
  • Updated map pencil cursor

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

Silent:

  • Storm of Steel is now faster

Enemies:

  • Thieving Hopper now shows the stolen card as a hovertip

Misc:

  • Added scroll functionality for patch notes screen
  • Added a scrollbar to the rewards screen for when you have a lot of rewards
  • Map nodes are now highlighted when you hover over them in the legend
  • Map nodes no longer pulse when being hovered over
  • Increased the speed of gold gain animation for large amounts
  • Re-added the combat reward FTUE
  • Cards are now scaled down a bit when they enter the play pile
  • Tweaked card bundle spacing
  • Updated large scrollbar size, color, anchoring logic, and assets

WORDING

  • Fixed Curl Up and Sandpit power descriptions
  • Tweaked Tezcatara’s Ember description now that Eternal is its own keyword
  • Fixed typo in Cruelty card’s description

BUG FIXES

Regent:

  • Fixed Mold the Stars power counter
  • Kingly Punch card now correctly ends combat

Silent:

  • Fixed softlock when card play gets canceled by Tools of the Trade

Colorless Cards:

  • Toric Toughness card now applies correct amount of Block even if you can't apply Block this turn

Potions & Relics:

  • Dolly's Mirror relic can no longer clone quest cards
  • Mummified Hand relic no longer can pick Tezcatara's Ember cards
  • Necrobinder and Defect cards are now prevented from showing up via Prismatic Shard relic
  • Screaming Flagon relic no longer triggers if your hand is only Burn cards

Ancients:

  • Added “gain 999 gold” to Zlatir’s Perpetual Coin relic description
  • Folly curse card now only deals damage if it is in hand when a card begins play
  • Wax Choker relic now melts wax relics from left to right

Enemies:

  • Amalgam now properly plays its death animation when Queen dies first
  • Generated cards like Shivs are now excluded from Thieving Hopper’s theft pool
  • Spectral Knight’s Hex move now applies Ethereal to cards generated in combat

Misc:

  • Abandoning run/losing run and returning to main menu no longer sometimes softlocks at a blurry screen
  • Battle Horn no longer sends you to an empty rest site on normal combat nodes and elite counter is now incremented
  • Disrupt power now displays the correct partial amount in description
  • Fixed softlock at refinement choice
  • Hovertips with details about the current combat situation (like Strength 2 saying "Increases attack damage by 2") are no longer overridden by hovertips without details (like the amount-agnostic "Strength adds additional damage to Attacks" version of the Strength hovertip)
  • Map no longer plays circle animation for previous nodes when you reload a save for the first time
  • Previewing non-upgradable cards no longer causes an error
  • Star UI now appear for characters that get star cards
  • Transforming cards no longer messes up deck card counter UX
  • Upgraded card names are now always displayed with a “+”
