CONTENT

Potions & Relics:

  • Reworked potions:
- Brain in a Jar

- Snecko Oil

Enemies:

  • Added new Act 2 encounter, The Obscura

Ancients:

  • Added new Tezcatara blessing, Smoldering Wick
  • Added new Pael blessings:
- Pael's Tears

- Cloning Capsule

- Pael's Flesh

  • Pael's blessings are now all in one pool
  • Reworked Spar with Tanx blessing

Events:

  • Added the War Historian questline

Multiplayer:

  • You can now use most beneficial potions on other players (The exceptions are potions that force you to make a choice, e.g. Attack
Potion)

BALANCE

Silent:

  • Buffed Precise Cut card: damage increased from 9(13) -> 13(18)

Necrobinder:

  • Changed Spectral card: no longer Exhausts
  • Changed Sentry Mode card: the damage that Osty deals via this card now counts as attack damage, meaning effects like Strength and Vigor now apply to it

Regent:

  • Changed Regent's Neow blessing bundle: no longer contains Seven Stars card, replaced with Shining Strike card
  • Nerfed Cloak of Stars card: Block decreased from 10(14) -> 9(13)
  • Buffed Collision Course card: damage increased from 8(11) -> 9(13)
  • Changed Conqueror card:
- Forge increased from 1(2) -> 2(3)

- Damage decreased from 8(10) -> 8(9)

  • Buffed Lunar Blast card: damage increased from 2(3) -> 3(4)
  • Buffed Perfect Reflection card: Block increased from 9(13) -> 10(14)
  • Nerfed Solar Strike card: damage nerfed from 9(11) -> 8(9)
  • Reworked Supermassive card: now only tracks player-generated cards and not status cards created by enemies

Potions & Relics:

  • Changed Radiant Tincture potion: extra energy gain changed to include your current turn in the 4 turn count
  • Buffed Broken Mirror relic: Doom increased from 13 -> 33
  • Buffed Shoehorn relic: damage increased from 5 -> 6

Enemies:

  • Changed Chains of Binding power: can now afflict already-unplayable cards with Bound
  • Changed Mytes encounter:
- Changed moveset

- HP decreased from 51(53)-57(59) -> 36(37)-41(42)

  • Nerfed Scrolls of Biting:
- Chomp move damage decreased from 16(18) -> 14(16)

- Ascension HP bonus decreased from +3 HP -> +1 HP

  • Buffed Soul Nexus: starting Soul Wither threshold decreased from 9 -> 7
  • Buffed Toxic status card: damage increased from 3 -> 4

Ancients:

  • Nerfed Zlatir's Choice's Paradox relic: cards to choose from decreased from 11 -> 10

Multiplayer:

  • Changed Soul Wither and Sandpit powers: both now count down separately for different players
  • Changed Thieving Hopper: now steals one card from each player

ART

  • Added portrait art for Graveblast, Reap, and Soul cards, and re-added portrait art for Swipe card
  • Added beta art for various cards and powers
  • Updated Sovereign Blade VFX
  • Optimized main menu animations
  • Converted CPU particle effects to GPU

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

Silent:

  • Hidden Daggers card now shows a hovertip for Shiv card

Necrobinder:

  • Osty's healthbar now shows the blue block outline when Necrobinder has block

Regent:

  • The Smith card now includes a hovertip for the Forge keyword

Potions & Relics:

  • Nye Essence relic no longer displays a turn counter, and is no longer grayed out after combat ends

Enemies:

  • Creature health bars now turn blue when they have block
  • Creature powers will now overflow into a second row

Events:

  • When an option in the Relic Trader event references two different relics that give Block, the Block hovertip is no longer shown twice

Misc:

  • Feedback form now includes a category field and emotes are optional
  • Improved formatting for date/time label in run history screen
  • Map shows specific room type from already traversed unknown rooms
  • Mouse card play threshold raised if you click on the card from the top of the card
  • Tuned up padding and font sizes for run history screen

Multiplayer:

  • A network error pops up on the host side when a state divergence is encountered
  • Network error popup now directs you to the in-game feedback screen
  • Remote players' Osty is no longer hoverable
  • State display comes up faster when hovering over other players
  • You can now view every player's run at the run history screen (Note that this breaks all old run histories!)

AUDIO

  • Added SFX to Vantom combat

WORDING

  • Fixed Fester card wording
  • Darv's Lost Art blessing cards now display their names in Gold
  • Fixed a missing word in Sentry Mode card's description
  • Fixed missing period in Refinement option at Orobas
  • Oblivion card wording improvements
  • Tweaked Nye Essence relic's wording to match Captain's Wheel relic
  • Improved Wrought In War card's clarity
  • Fixed Polish card's description to read "Upgrades 1 random colorless card"

BUG FIXES

Necrobinder:

  • Fixed Swipe card hovertip
  • Fixed softlock that occurred when playing Swipe card while Osty is dead
  • Invoke card now properly shows the hovertip for Summon instead of Doom
  • Misery card no longer duplicates Rock Bowlbug's Imbalanced power onto other enemies
  • Necro Mastery card now properly buffs Afterlife card's next turn Summon amount
  • Osty now properly plays his death animation when he dies to Thorns during a multi-hit attack
  • Pull From Below card now properly makes the enemy lose HP instead of dealing damage to them
  • Pull from Below card no longer improperly hits all enemies

Colorless Cards:

  • Splash card now properly selects 3 random cards across all characters' card pools, instead of randomly selecting a single character and then selecting 3 cards from their card pool

Relics & Potions:

  • Nye Essence relic's icon no longer stays grayed out between combats

Enemies:

  • Completed deprecation of Sealed Sword and Herald of Tempests card so that the card no longer appears in the compendium
  • Fixed an issue where Soul Nexus's Soul Wither power would decrement when one of its attacks damaged Osty but not the player

Events:

  • Self-Help Book event now properly displays the amount of each enchantment that will be applied in its options' hovertips

Misc:

  • Extra card trail VFX no longer shows up when receiving status cards
  • Fixed an issue where a Bound card that is played and then drawn back into your hand on the same turn could be played again
  • Haunt power is now properly categorized as a buff
  • Hovering over a potion while it goes away no longer results in a softlock
  • If you have more Innate cards than your starting hand size, you now properly draw them all (up to the max hand size)
  • Merchant card removal is no longer marked as used if you cancel it

Multiplayer:

  • Cards no longer get stuck for a long time when a player targets an enemy that is about to die
  • Corruption enchantment now only makes the owning player's cards free
  • Fixed Dig rest site option sometimes resulting in a state divergence
  • Fixed freeze that sometimes occurred when leaving a multiplayer game
  • Fixed divergence after playing a card while your end turn action is waiting on other players
  • Hatching Byrdpip no longer results in a state divergence
  • Hovering over potions now shows potions, not relics
  • Joining a multiplayer game while already joining a multiplayer game no longer results in an error
  • Launching the game from a multiplayer Steam invite works now
  • "End turn" indicator no longer sticks around after combat ends
  • Cursors no longer stick around after you or other players disconnect
  • Remote players' status cards that are played at end of turn (like Infection) come from their player rather than your hand
  • Starting a new run after trying to load a broken multiplayer run no longer causes a softlock
  • The network error popup no longer gets stuck indefinitely
