This week's patch brings another BIG rework to The Necrobinder! Other highlights include some major changes to The Silent's kit, a reworked Ascension 1, and lots of interesting UX additions.
CONTENT
General:
- Reworked Ascension 1 from buffed bosses to Elites spawning more often (approximately 60% more Elites spawned in a map)
- Save migration now supports Settings and Climbs
Silent:
- Added the following new cards:

Necrobinder:

- Reworked Gamma Beam card
BALANCE
Ironclad:
- Changed Cinder card: cards Exhausted decreased from 2 -> 1
- Buffed Fiend Fire card: damage increased from 6(9) -> 7(10)
- Changed Drum of Battle power: now activates at the start of your turn instead of the end
Silent:
- Changed Follow Through card:
- Can only be played if the last card played this turn is a Skill
- Deals 7 damage twice
- Changed Memento Mori card:
- Base damage decreased from 9(10) -> 8(10)
- Damage scaling increased from 3(4) -> 4(5)
- Buffed Strangling Strike card: damage increased from 7(9) -> 8(10)
- Changed Tracking card: upgrade changed from gaining Innate -> lower cost by 1
Necrobinder:
- Changed Banshee's Cry card: damage buffed from 31(37) -> 39(47)
- Changed Misery card:
- Energy cost decreased from 1 -> 0
- Damage decreased from 9(11) -> 7(9)
- When Misery copies temporary Strength Down it also copies the associated Strength Up
Regent:
- Fixed ordering on regents Vulnerable and Weak applying cards like Falling Star to match the rest of the game.
Potions & Relics:
- Buffed Bent Nail relic: HP loss increased from 2 -> 4
- Buffed Foritfier potion: double your Block -> triple your Block
- Buffed Heart of Iron potion: Plating increased from 5 -> 7
Colorless Cards:
- Buffed Hand of Greed card: no longer Exhausts
Ancients:
- Changed Tanx's Maul blessing:
- Maul card damage increased from 5 -> 6
- Amount of transformable cards lowered from 9 -> 6
Enemies:
- Changed Axe Bots:
- Reworked moveset
- Debuff does less damage
- Ceremonial Beast Regeneration now active regardless of ascension
- Changed Corpse Slug:
- Reworked moveset
- Block and damage move is now the weakest attack
- Block decreased from 6 -> 4
- Nerfed Decimillipede: damage decreased
- Buffed Fossil Stalker: damage and HP increased
- Changed Hatchlings:
- Reworked moveset
- Damage decreased
- Changed The Infested: damage decreased on turn 1
- Changed The Insatiable:
- No longer gains Block
- Damage on big hit decreased from 30(35) -> 28(31)
- Buffed Knowledge Demon:
- Heal increased from 21 -> 25
- Mind Rot affliction Vigor gain increased from 3 -> 4.
- Strength gain increased from 2(3) -> 3(4)
- Changed Lagavulin Matriarch: reworked moveset
- Changed Mytes combat: now has 2 Mytes instead of 3
- Buffed Queen: Intangible power now active on turn 1 regardless of Ascension level
- Nerfed Two-Tailed Rats: no longer give the player Toxic
Events:
- Buffed Waterlogged curse card: HP loss increased from 1 -> 3
ART
- Added placeholder background art for the following events:
- The Reflection That Wasn't
- Waterlogged Scriptorium
- Tempting Bloom
- Punch Off
- The Endless Conveyor
- The Drowning Beacon
- Abyssal Baths
- Sunken Treasury
- Added animations for Soul Fysh
- Hellraiser power now changes the animation & VFX of the Strike cards it plays
USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE
Necrobinder:
- Osty now shakes if you try to play an Osty attack while he's dead
Potions & Relics:
- Maw Bank relic no longer flashes over player at the start of combat
- Potions are now rendered a little smaller
General:
- Event choice controller navigation now wraps
- Added an icon in the topbar displaying the Act boss
- Ascension panel now animates in
- Basic cards are now part of the "other" category in the Compendium
- Completed quests can now be seen in the Run History
- Run History is now centered in different aspect ratios
- In-combat card choices now display cards with combat value previews
- Language dropdown now displays correctly at weird aspect ratios
- Reward order now matches StS1 again
- Smith VFX can now work with multiple cards at the same time
- If cards are played fast enough that they are queued, they are now lined up in order
Multiplayer:
- Added small animations to the multiplayer vote icons
- Selected rest site options are now displayed next to the player
- Added VFX/SFX for when a remote player selects a rest site option
- You can now see the rest site option that another player is hovering over
WORDING
- Added red coloring to Neow's Gift Box blessing
- Evil Gas renamed to Living Fog
- Liquid Memories potion now says the selected card will be free to play instead of cost 0 to better match the effect
- Thieving Hopper's Flutter power now properly specifies that it only triggers on damage from Attacks
BUG FIXES
Ironclad:
- Fixed an ordering issue with Tyranny and Stratagem powers
Silent:
- Fixed a broken interaction between Nostalgia card and Sly
Defect:
- Added Lightning Orb hovertip to Ball Lightning card
- Hello World card now properly triggers before you draw the rest of your hand
Necrobinder:
- Danse Macabre card no longer triggers itself when played with an increased energy cost
- Fixed a crash when playing Sweeping Gaze card while all enemies are reviving
Regent:
- Make It So card no longer shifts positions if you play four cards while it's in your hand
Colorless Cards:
- Discovery card no longer sets the chosen card's Star cost to 0
Potions & Relics:
- Fixed an issue where Gremlin Horn and Hungering Belly relics wouldn't trigger when a creature's death was prevented by an effect like Hard to Kill power
- Stone Calendar relic's lab hovertip now works while in combat
Enemies:
- Adjusted Decimillipede's bounds so their HP bars don't collide
- Fabricator flying minions now fall all the way to the ground in their death animation
- Fixed a softlock that sometimes occurred when Magi Knight used its Magic Bomb move
- Fixed an issue where Test Subject's Malleable power wasn't giving it enough block after multi-hit attacks
- Fixed issue with Toadpole death animation transitioning back to idle
- Fixed Tunneler playing its burrowed attack animation twice
- Hexed affliction can now affect Status and Curse cards
- Infested Guardian now does correct damage for Guarded Strike move
- Spaced enemies out more so their healthbars don't overlap
- Spiny Toad's spike out animation no longer plays once per hit of the multihit
- Tracker Raider now only plays attack animation once when doing the multihit
Events:
- The Trial's Innocent option now uses a single card select to upgrade 2 cards
General:
- Achievements are no longer listed twice in the stats menu
- Cards with effects that trigger if you end your turn with them in your hand (such as Burn) no longer trigger if an earlier end-of-turn effect (such as Combust) ends combat
- Fixed Embark button outline
- HP bar colors (Poison, Doom) should no longer look offset
Multiplayer:
- Gang Up card no longer shows incorrect damage preview values when targeting a vulnerable enemy
- Gang Up card now counts attacks that were blocked
- Traveler's Flask relic's additional text only displays for player that has it
