BALANCE

Ironclad:

  • Changed Cinder card: “Exhaust the next 2 cards played” -> “Exhaust the top 2 cards of your draw pile”
  • Changed Grapple card: rarity increased from Common -> Uncommon
  • Buffed Howl From Beyond card: cost decreased from 5 -> 3
  • Buffed Mangle card: upgrade now also upgrades the enemy’s Strength loss from 10 -> 15
  • Buffed Primal Cost card: cost decreased from 3 -> 2
  • Changed Pummel card: rarity increased from Common -> Uncommon
  • Nerfed Stomp: required attacks increased from 2 -> 3

  • Necrobinder's starting deck changed to 5 Strikes, 4 Defends, and 1 Bodyguard
  • Changed Countdown card:
  • Energy cost increased from 0 -> 2
  • Doom applied increased from 3(5) -> 6(9)
  • Changed Empower card:
  • Energy cost decreased from 1 -> 0
  • Strength gain decreased from 10 -> 5(10)
  • No longer removes Exhaust when upgraded
  • Changed Flatten card: now deals 5 damage to a single enemy 5(6) times
  • Buffed Negative Pulse card: Block gain increased from 6(7) -> 7(9)

  • No longer gains innate on upgrade

  • Changed Art of War relic: rarity increased from Common -> Uncommon
  • Changed Bag of Marbles relic: rarity increased from Common -> Uncommon
  • Changed Dragonfruit relic: type changed from Darv Ancient relic -> Rare relic
  • Changed Wongos Bargain relic: gives you bonus relic along with the rest of your combat rewards at the end of combat

Ancients:

  • Changed Pael’s Lumbering Essence choice: enchant entire deck -> choose 5 cards to enchant
  • Changed Tezcatara’s Wax Choker: Wax relics given decreased from 6 -> 5

Enemies:

  • Damage and HP values tweaked for several act 2 enemies
  • Increased the number of burly enemy rooms per act from 5 -> 7
  • Changed Decemillipede: segments do less damage and have less health
  • Changed Hunter Killer: now applies Weak instead of Frail
  • Changed Noisebot: now also adds a Dazed to discard pile at the same time it adds one to top of draw pile
  • Changed Stabbot: now applies Weak instead of Frail
  • Changed Wriggler: now buffs itself the same turn it applies Infection

Events:

  • Changed Wellspring event:
  • “Drink” choice now gives 1 Guilty curse card
  • “Bathe” choice now gives 3 Guilty curse cards
  • Changed Forsaken Citadel event: Gold gained from “I don’t need help!” choice decreased from 200 -> 150
  • Changed Living Cocoon event: “Stick Your Arm In” choice HP loss increased from 7 -> 9
  • Changed Perilous Prospects event: third Decipher choice max HP loss increased from 6 -> 8
  • Changed Room Full of Cheese event: Gorge choice - “Choose 2 out of 8 random Commons to add to your deck.”
  • Changed Symbiote event: “Kill with Fire” choice - “Take (20% of your current HP in) damage. Choose a card to remove from your deck.”
  • Changed Tinker Time event:
  • “Speed” choice no longer gives Innate to power cards
  • “Heart” choice energy granted on next turn decreased from 5 -> 3
  • “Body” choice temporary Strength gain decreased from 5 -> 3
  • “Stability” choice temporary Dexterity gain decreased from 5 -> 3

Misc:

  • Burly bonus now gives you a bonus of 10 gold per Act number instead of 25% more gold

ART

  • Added event VFX for Byrdonis Egg, The Legends Were True, Perilous Prospects, Bugslayer, Field of the Forgotten, and The Trail (including interiors)
  • Created a ground-on-fire VFX
  • Added VFX for the Ironclad temporarily catching on fire when playing Inflame

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

  • The first combat you ever encounter in your first run is always Nibbit
  • The Neow node will be replaced by a regular monster for the first run the player plays (or if they reset FTUEs)
  • Card hovertips in events also include card keywords
  • Gave visual update to Legendary cards
  • Tea relics now update their description based on uses left

WORDING

  • Reworded Colorful Philosophers event choice: "Choose 3 X cards" -> "Obtain a X card"
  • Reworded Sword of Jade relic description: “Start each combat with 3 Strength.”
  • Instances where “ALL” is used now say “all” instead. Goodbye all caps...
  • Fixed attack intent description spacing
  • Fixed Finisher card line breaks
  • Fixed Joss Paper relic punctuation
  • Fixed punctuation for Eternal Solstice power description
  • Tweaked wording on Stoke and Fiend Fire cards

BUG FIXES

Colorless Cards:

  • Perfected Strike no longer includes strikes in your exhaust pile

Potions & Relics:

  • Circlet relic no longer shows up in relic compendium
  • Dragonfruit relic no longer lags the reward screen when you collect gold
  • Relics from a broken save can no longer affect new runs
  • Screaming Flagon relic now flashes when it procs

Enemies:

  • Decemillipede animations no longer get stuck
  • Decemillipede segment health is always even and unique
  • Fixed the Duo HP not set for Tough Enemies ascension
  • VFX for Fuzzy Wurm Crawler and Flyconid no longer can get stuck

Events:

  • Stone of All Time event is now blocked if you don't have any potions OR valid attacks
  • Relic Trader event no longer lets you trade event relics
  • Removed Regret card hovertip from “It’s a Trap” choice in The Legends Were True event

Misc:

  • Fixed performance degradation over long play sessions
  • Right clicking shop relic no longer hides its hovertips
