Ancients:

  • Added new relics for associated Ancient blessings:
- Neow's Bundle blessing now gives Ancient Booster Pack relic

Multiplayer:

  • Multiplayer ascension is now tracked separately (Ascension is shared among all characters in multiplayer; only the smallest multiplayer ascension shared between all players in a game may be selected)

BALANCE

Necrobinder:

  • Buffed Devour Life card: Strength gain increased from 1 -> 2
  • Buffed Invoke card:
- Damage increased from 5(8) -> 4(6)

- Summon increased from 1(1) -> 3(4)

Regent:

  • Buffed Begone/Minion Dive Bomb card: damage increased from 14(19) -> 16(21)
  • Changed Bulwark card:
- Block increased from 11(14) -> 13(16)

- Forge decreased from 11(14) -> 10(13)

  • Buffed Kingly Kick card: damage increased from 23(29) -> 24(30)
  • Nerfed Kingly Punch card: damage growth decreased from 4(7) -> 3(5)
  • Buffed Lunar Blast card: damage increased from 3(4) -> 4(5)
  • Buffed Parry card: Block increased from 8(11) -> 10(13)
  • Buffed Particle Wall card: Block increased from 8(11) -> 9(12)
  • Buffed Prophesize card: card draw increased from 5(8) -> 6(9)

Colorless Cards:

  • Changed Jackpot, Metamorphosis, and Calamity cards: now have a chance of generating multiple copies of the same card

Potions & Relics:

  • Changed Lasting Candy relic: now only applies to card rewards from combats, but applies to all of them if there are multiple in a single combat

Enemies:

  • Changed Corpse Slugs:
- Damage for their large attack decreased from 10(11) -> 8(9)

- HP increased from 26(27) - 29(30) -> 23(25)-28(29)

  • Buffed Living Shield: Enrage strength gain increased from 2 -> 3
  • Buffed Two-Tailed Rats: HP increased from 20(21)-24(25) -> 22(24)-26(28)
  • Nerfed Waterfall Giant: Pressure Gun attack scaling decreased from +10 -> +5

Events:

  • Changed Spoils Map quest: now gives one less relic (since it no longer is at a chest)

ART

  • Added portrait art for Suppress, Meteor Shower, Protector, Relax, and Maul cards

USER INTERFACE & EXPERIENCE

Necrobinder:

  • Damage numbers on Osty no longer show overkill damage
  • Players no longer get dragged to hell when they are doomed

General:

  • Added a hovertip for fullscreen
  • Added hovertip for Combat Speed settings option
  • Added hovertip for Screenshake
  • Added logic to move and resize window when selecting a display in the settings screen if windowed
  • If game window doesn't fit on screen, it's now resized
  • The game window is now disallowed from being larger than the target display size
  • When resizing the game window, the current resolution in the options menu now updates automatically + setting your target display updates the available resolutions list
  • Encounters are now rescaled in 4:3 so that enemies are no longer offscreen
  • Resolution picker now becomes disabled if game is in fullscreen
  • At the start of combat, a potion sloshing sound now occurs for each potion you have
  • Hovering over potions now makes them do a little bounce
  • Cards now flash in your hand if they are modified by things like hand trick
  • Cards that haven't been encountered yet appear as "unknown" in the card library
  • Added fancier paginators
  • Added fancy hover logic for normal map nodes
  • Grungified tickbox assets
  • Map paths you traveled now have 20 percent larger dots than normal
  • Reduced map node sizes
  • Updated press down UX for Ancient and normal map nodes
  • Updated map room select VFX to scale up when selecting Ancient or Boss nodes
  • Added map tinting support (to help us find a good map color before updating the entire asset)
  • Added a nice little fade in when loading the settings panels
  • Added mock up of new general settings screen
  • Created Language Selector screen in Settings
  • The language you select in the Language Selector is reflected in your settings file
  • Pause menu screens now utilize the whole screen and dismiss the topbar
  • When clicking outside of a dropdown menu, the opened dropdown menu is now dismissed
  • Removed compendium button from top bar + settings button now opens a pause menu
  • Made small revisions to run history room hovertips
- Damage is now always displayed first

- Turn count is now last (instead of first)

- The room type is displayed along with "Unknown" for ? rooms

  • Changed the colors used to indicate modifications to the energy costs of cards in your hand
  • Updated HP bar color when a creature has block

Multiplayer:

  • If different players choose different options in a shared event, the option that is executed is now more obvious
  • You can now click on other players to view their relics, potions, and deck (the player's hand is purposefully omitted)

AUDIO

  • Added new transitions for Ceremonial Beast's background music

WORDING

  • Exoskeleton power has been renamed to Hard to Kill
  • Tezcatara's Ember relic has been renamed to Bucket of Coals (but Tezcatara's Ember enchantment retains the name)
  • Roach monster has been renamed to Exoskeleton
  • Capture Spirit card's wording is now cleaner
  • Effects that duplicate card plays (such as Duplication Potion) now say that the card is played "an extra time" instead of "twice", better reflecting how they behave in combination with the Replay keyword

BUG FIXES

Necrobinder:

  • Lethality card now works properly on the turn it is played
  • Vambrace relic no longer affects Shroud card's block value in its description

Colorless Cards:

  • Nostalgia card now works properly on the turn it is played
  • Rolling Boulder card powers are now individual instances rather than stacking

Potions & Relics:

  • Fixed issue where Vambrace relic would continue to flash if it was proc'd by Melancholy power

Enemies:

  • Fixed softlock when defeating Soul Nexus with Doom
  • Super Foul Fog now correctly does damage with Super Foul Fog move
  • Fixed game over message when dying to Punch Constructs

Events:

  • Slippery Bridge event no longer softlocks when it selects an upgraded card
  • Stone of All Time event no longer softlocks if it selects an upgraded attack card
  • Violent Heroes 2 event option now correctly states "loses Max HP" instead of just "lose HP"

General:

  • Going fullscreen now saves the window size and position, so if you unfullscreen it returns to the previous state
  • It is now detected if the game window is out of bounds of the display. If so, its position is reset to the top left corner
  • Fixed instances when setting aspect ratio to auto didn't take
  • Fixed softlock when opening feedback screen at character selection
  • Fixed an interaction between Sly and effects that draw immediately after discarding (i.e. Calculated Gamble, Gambler's Brew, and Gambling Chip)

Multiplayer:

  • Clients are no longer disconnected after the host leaves while the end-of-game screen is shown
  • Only the multiplayer run is deleted at the end of the run, not the single player one
  • Relics no longer trigger on dead multiplayer players
  • Skipped rewards in multiplayer are always recorded at the correct map history entry
